Question Hi my name is April and I have recently tried to figure out what color my baby's hair and eyes may come out to be. My mom has green eyes, my dad blue, and I have all blue and green eyes siblings but I have brown eyes. My husbands eyes are brown, both of his parents and all of his sibling eyes are also brown. My mother has dark red hair, my father was a bleach blonde but as he aged it turned to brown, I have brown hair. My husband has brown hair as well as both of his parents. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I know you can't give me an exact answer but at this point I don't even have a good guess.
Answer Hi April, If you can see blue eyes in any of your partners family - cousins included, then he may be carrying a blue eye allele which can produce a child with blue eyes. Thats if you are carrying one too! (I am confident that you are carrying one due to lots of your family having blue or green eyes). The likely outcome is brown eyes, however.
