About Katie Bischoff
Expertise
I have been making webpages for 5 years. I have worked with everything from Geocities to Dencity to CuteHTML. I can answer almost any question you have, be it about programming in general or different programs to use.

Experience
I have been making websites for 5+ years, and I currently run 10 different sites. I went from having a site on Geocities to having my own domain, and in the process I've used quite a few different programs to ccomplish what I wanted.

Geocities Webpage Creator (HTML) - Mouse pass-over

Expert: Katie Bischoff - 5/4/2000

Question
I have a frame on the left of my website that lists subjects like a main index that will take me to an html address when I click on one of them. However, I need to have them expand to show other directories below them when I pass the mouse over, very much like the windows95 "Start" "programs" pass-overs.

Answer
As far as I know there's no way to get the "start" "programs" pass-over effect.  However, there is a Javascript program called "Foldertree" which works like Windows Explorer - you have a bunch of folders and when you click on the folder it expands to whatever you want.  It's really easy to use and you can get the code here: http://javascript.internet.com/foldertree/

Hope this helps, and if you need any more help just let me know.
