About Katie Bischoff
Expertise
I have been making webpages for 5 years. I have worked with everything from Geocities to Dencity to CuteHTML. I can answer almost any question you have, be it about programming in general or different programs to use.

Experience
I have been making websites for 5+ years, and I currently run 10 different sites. I went from having a site on Geocities to having my own domain, and in the process I've used quite a few different programs to ccomplish what I wanted.

Expert: Katie Bischoff - 7/1/2001

Question
I have made several pages on Geocities and there is 2 of them I want to use in a domain or dot com
I am not to good in MSfront page yet but I have goecites page maker done fairly well.
Now my Questions:
1 Can I transfer theses Geocities sites to a domain?
2 Who or how do I contact to get one of those pass word and credit card approval set up?
3 last question how do you choose a good server or host for my sites ?

Answer
Hey Roger :)

1) Yes, you can transfer your sites to a domain.  The best way to do this would probably be to save the pages from Geocities to your computer, and then upload them to your domain name.

2) I'm not quite sure what you mean.  What do you need a password and credit card approval for?

3) I would recommend going to http://www.tophosts.com.  It's a search engine that will allow you to look for hosts that offer exactly what you want.

If you have any other questions, please let me know.

-Katie
