About Katie Bischoff Expertise I have been making webpages for 5 years. I have worked with everything from Geocities to Dencity to CuteHTML. I can answer almost any question you have, be it about programming in general or different programs to use.
Experience I have been making websites for 5+ years, and I currently run 10 different sites. I went from having a site on Geocities to having my own domain, and in the process I've used quite a few different programs to ccomplish what I wanted.

Question I built a web page but I dont understand how to upload or what ever you do.Is a domain and web hosting the same thig. Do I need both?
Answer Domains and web hosting are two separate things. A domain name is simply the address that you type in order to see a page, such as www.aol.com, www.ktnb.net, www.inourimage.org, etc. Web hosting is where you store the files that make up your website. Once you purchase a domain name, you must purchase web hosting so that you have a place to store your files. Once you have hosting, the company sets it up so that when you type in the domain name, you access the files.
