Question
Where can I get a map of the world that shows real proportions?

Answer
Hi Eric,

This is very difficult to do since when you take a sphere and make it flat, there is distortion that occurs.  The mercator is one that has a lot of distortions but both the Sinusoidal and Dymaxion have the least.  A globe has no distortion.
