Is it possible to check temperature in Snow using thermometer mostly observed in Mountains and Hillstations?

Yes,
one can check the temperature of any material.
A thermometer is perfect for measuring the temperature of snow or the air temperature of air while it is snowing. Temperature may also be recorded by an affordable and accurate infrared thermometer.
Snow is a mixture of ice-crystals and air. The temperature can measure anything under 10C (50F).
