Question
how microfossil helps in petroleum exploration,role of foraminfera,radiolaria,ostracodontetc.

Answer
They are used as marker fossils for biostratigraphy and paleoeenvironmetal analyses. The various species can help date and delineate boundaries in units and identify certain environments of deposition.
