Question
what's the career option in volcano and earthquakes studies?and what exactly is G&G computer application

Answer
Tejal:

G&G stands for Geology and Geophysics.  This is software that allows interactive interpretation of seismic and geologic data on a computer.  Check out http://www.seismicmicro.com/

I work for this company.

The work in volcanology and seismology is limited to universities and government geologic surveys.  There isn't any commercial interest in those fields.  The study is mainly by academic and governments because the interest is academic or hazard prevention and mitigation.

There are a few centers for volcanologic studies run by governments in Italy, Hawaii, Indonesia, anywhere that has a pressing and immediate threat posed by active volcanos.  The same goes for the study of earthquakes.  Southern California, etc have centers for study of Earthquakes.  The limited resources in developing countries of course limits the money that can be spent on this kind of non-comercial areas of study.
