Question
Sir on what bases we have divided Indus Basin into upper and lower, also lower into southern and central?

Answer
Dear Dayanand,

The basin are being routinely divided by prominent uplift such as horst, uplift or craton. In Pakistan, Indus basin main divisions are Sargodha High, Sukkur-Khairpur High and Thatta Hyderabad High.

North and south of Sargodha High are  Upper Indus and Central Indus respectively whereas south of Sukkur High is lower Indus Basin.
