         Dear sir which type of fault is pass from Islamabad ?

Dear Waqar,

Thanks for sending me your question.
An east-west trending thrust fault is running  north of Islamabad which have elevated the hills of Margalla, known as Main Boundary Thrust (MBT). Most likely, if there are other major faults, inside and in the vicinity of Islamabad, would be reverse or thrust faults in that kind of geological domain.
