Question
Purple minerals
Purple minerals
Purple and clear minerals mix with Micah. To me looks like Amesite but not sure.

Answer
Dear Erika,  the picture is not clear. The specimen may be Garnetiferous quartzo feldspathic Gneiss. The purple color mineral must be Garnet.,  Mica flakes are visible. Remaining portions of the specimen is not clear and also can't be decided exactly by seeing photographs. It has to be examined further for physical properties.
