Question
Could you possible explain the differences in magnetic anomalies and reversals and polar wandering?

Answer
Polar wandering is the variability of the position of the pole.  In other words, if you mapped the postion of the north pole over time it would describe a wandering or sinuous line, kind of like the top axis of a spinning top as it wobbles just before it stops.  Polare reversals are where the north and south poles actually change positions.  Compasses will point to the south rather than to the north.  Anomalies are variations in the relatively constant magnetic field of the earth.  These can be due to differences in the crustal material.  When the magnetic field is mapped on the surface of the earth, variations are readily discernable.
