Question
need examples of adjacent angles am confused how to tell adjacent angles apart from non adjacent

Answer
Adjacent angles means two angles that share a line with each other.

If ABC is 30° and CBD is 50°, and the angle don't overlap, then ABD os 82°.
This is because they both share the line BD, which makes them adjacent.

If ABC is 30° and DBF is 50°, there is no joined angle.  They may have the same center,
but they are known to be non-adjacent.

If angle ABC is 30° and angle DEC is 50°, even though they share and endpoint,
they are non-adjacent, for they share no line segment.

If angle ABD is 30° and angle ACD is 50°, they are non-adjacent since they share no side,
only both endpoints.  In this case, they form opposing angles in a quadrilateral.

If ABC is 30° and DBF is 50°, and they do not overlap, amd BCD forms a line,
they are still to be considered adjacent angles since they share a line together.
