Question
Why haven't they replaced Pi with Tau yet ?

Isn't it like 3 years over due ?

Answer
Hi AL,

There are many pedagogical advantages of tau at the high school level.  Beyond that, the advantages are primarily aesthetic.  Furthermore, the difference between pi and tau is a factor of one half.  It is not some 'weird' factor like the square root of 17, so it's not really a pressing issue.  That said, it would be great to see tau gain notoriety and become an accepted mathematical constant.  It's far more than 3 years overdue.
