Hello sir

Sir another time iam sending question reated to that i garden daigram but this time i posted my question very clearly. In short i explain here only because i sent in attachment pease read and please read this that i am not understanding why to we do 20-(3.5+3.5). because sir icant explain without diagram after this . Sir explained my question in attachment please and sorry for distuping you again and again in behind that question

Answer
As stated, we have a semicircle at either end.
As also mentioned, these combine to form a circle.

What's left in between these two semicircles is a rectangle.
It can be seen that the width 3.5+3.5=7.

To find the length, we need to take off the semicircle at both ends.
Thus, we take 20 - 3.5 - 3.5 = 20 - 7 = 13.
That is the length of the rectangle between the two semicircles.
