Is it possible to design a kite shaped diamond scrabble board with character tiles?
If yes,can this bring variation to the word power game?
Answer Hi Prashant,
The shape(s) used to fill the board must be a tessellation. That means we can place tiles on the board without having gaps between them. This can be achieved with rhombus-shaped tiles. That said, square tiles work nicely because the angles are right. Playing with more general rhombi would not change the game, other than making the board skewed.
