Question
Our family are going on holiday for five days and we can't afford to have Honey looked after. Is there any way we can leave her enough food and water so she will be OK.
A hamster won't go through a full water bottle in 5 days so she'll have enough water, and 5 days without fresh food is a stretch, but you can make it through it if you give her hard food treats or those large seed treat logs from the pet store. Anything that will take her longer then normal to eat so it forces her to ration her food. Leave a large seed treat stick like this http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2753493&lmdn=Pet+Type and maybe some other hard food treats depending on what your store has to offer, and she should make it fine.
