AboutShawntiah Jones Expertise I have great knowledge in many small and furry animals such as hamsters, gerbils, rats, mice, chinchillas, guinea pigs, rabbits and ferrets. I have taken care all of these animals and have great knowledge in appropiate cage sizes as well as food and health.
Experience I no longer work at pet store. because I am now working at a hospital, but I worked in the petcare department for a year and was the petcare lead of my department. It was a lot of work and a lot of fun. I also own many types of animals.
Question I have a dwarf hamster in a plastic cage and would like to use some sort of glue to fix some of the plastic parts. I don't want him to get sick from eating the adhesive though. Is there an adhesive that would be safe to use in this situation?
Thank you.
Answer You know what i've been looking for a glue myself that won't hurt my hamster and will also work as well as not wash off. The thing is the only thing that seems to work on plastic is super glue and of course that's toxic. The best thing to do is to put the glue where he can't get to it or buy the parts. I tried going to a hardware store and looking for a strong non toxic glue but I could never find it.
