Hi Teri - sorry my last question was so involved. I had one quick question. Do you feel that Spaetzle can be made the night before our event, and refrigerated? I might do a Spaetzle & cheese dish (add cheese day of event and bake...) It seems like it's almost like "regular" pasta? Thx! Linda

Answer
Spaetzle is like a dumpling. It can be reheated or put in a dish with cheese after being made in advance. It's fairly easy to make--just a bear to clean up. My German stepmother pushes the dough through a steel strainer into the boiling water if that helps?
