QUESTION: I am looking for at least a title of an old 1960's german LP. The whole LP was about SEAMAN songs. My deceased father used to play it over and over when I was a child and I would like to find it. Any ideas on where to start? I already checked EBAY under "SEAMAN" records.

unfortunately your description is a little too general. There must be dozens of LPs that would fit. Can you remember a line or two of the lyrics?

If you want to continue looking on your own you might want to use these words as search terms:
seaman - "Matrose"
maritime song - "Shanty"

QUESTION: ONE of the songs was LOLITA's hit from 1960 "Seemann, deine Heimat ist das meer". But I want to know the name of the ALBUM. I don't think it was all her songs.
