Expert: Kurt Bamert - 4/7/2006

Question
Greetings, and many thanks for the recent help.

Here's the context: Die „Fönwelle“: Dieter Thomas Kuhn (download des Tages)

Please, what does Fönwelle mean here? My dictionary says something about a hairdryer, but it doesn't fit.

Cheers,

Simon

Answer
Hello
Yes Fön or Föhn means as well here in this context hairdryer.

2. elektrisches Gerät zum Trocknen des Haars.
