Question How would I find the dates for the Octoberfest in Berchtesgaden for 2008? We attended the fest in Berchtesgaden in 2000 but I need exact dates. Thank you.

You can find just about any city's web site in Germany by going to www.NAMEOFCITY.de
This site, if it does not list the Oktoberfest specifically, will at least lead you in the direction of the tourist information office. They can tell you what events are planned during the fest period.
