Question
It has been a number of years since I have read or seen anything about Germany since the removal of the Berlin wall. And I remember the wall even went through farms, etc. Did they remove all the wall, or part of the wall?

Has been there any big changes since then?

Answer
Dear David,
thank you for your question.
The wall was almost completely removed except for small parts that serve now as memorials. In Berlin, you can still follow moist of the course of the wall because it has been marked with differently coloured paving stones.

Parts of the prohibited zone around the wall and of the additional border installations can still be seen in parts of the area, especially if no one wanted to build anything there. But most of the wall and the rest of the border have been demolished and have been built over.
I hope I was of some help to you
Jennifer
