Do you have any recommendations for lodging in the Bad Wimpfen area or along the Neckar River in this area? We prefer to stay in a private home rather than a hotel. I will be visiting this area in late September. Thanks for in advance for any help. John

My experience, other than living in my own house in the Darmstadt area from 1989-1994, is limited to hotels and my apartment in Rothenburg ob der Tauber. I do know the Bad Wimpfen area, it's a great town and you will certainly have luck finding a Bed and Breakfast in a private home. Try this site:
