Question
Sir,

I am a student from India and I work part time as a freelance writer. I work for an American company and my payments take place currently via wire transfer. But, I am told that PayPal is a better option. But unfortunately, I know next to nothing of PayPal. Could you tell me how their system works? I am motivated by your reference to paypal in a previous answer to someone else. If you cannot go through all the details then maybe you could send me a suitable link?

Thank you,
Vinit

Answer
Getting Paypal would be very helpful to you. But you will find it less helpful unless you use a US Limited Liability Company and US Bank account. Then the US Company would obtain the PayPal account in your name, and you would be able to obtain a Mastercard Debit card linked to your paypal account. As such you would benefit from both the US LLC, US bank account and the Paypal account for each of access.
