Global Investing - question

Expert: Alexander J. Hay - 8/13/2008

Question
Why do all financial research focus on analysing top 500 listed companies only?

Answer
This is not exactly true. There is a lot of research on smaller cap companies. But the big money has to invest in big companies. And the big money pays for the research. Soooooooo, it would make sense that most of the research is done for the people who pay the bills.
