Can SMS be encrypted?.

Are there any Advantages?.



Yes it can be encryption. A simple search will show a variety of different software apps to provide SMS encryption, for example:




NOTE: This is not an endorsement of these specific apps - these are given only as examples that the option exists.

The advantage is simply a matter of security should you plan to transit sensitive information over SMS.
