Question I really appreciate all your help. I have your web sight in my favorites. Tinkerbell didn't make it through the night. Guess I was a little pre-mature on my joy of her having berries instead of pudding. I know a lot more now. We do not have Vet's near here that know goats really well & the one that will come to the farm is hard to get a hold of.
Do you think I should treat the rest of my goats for cocci? I have an adult one that we just put into the pen with the buck & now starts to look skinny. We de-wormed with Ivomec + on 7/6 and am keeping a close eye on her. Don't want this to happen all over again.
Thanks again for all your knowledge, kindness & help.

Answer Hi Shellie,
I'm so very sorry about Tinkerbelle, I thought this may happen. I am SO very sorry. Yes I would treat everyone and make sure to keep them on the 10x10x10 day deworming for the first set of deworming and then on an as needed basis- You are due to re-deworm on 7-16 and again on 7-26
One thing to remember is the sound of the voice she used last night and also for some reason, when a goat has been sick and down, they all seem to have one day of euphoria where you think they are on the way to getting better- then they crash and you lose them. I don't know why this is but I have seen it time and time again and many other goat breeders have also noticed it. I wanted to tell you that last night and didn't have the heart to. I'm so sorry
hugs
