Question If I gave a goat a handful of dog food would that be harmful to it?
Answer Hi Melissa,
It probably would not but this is not something you would want to do often because when they make dog food they use the not so wonderful meat from ruminants (cows, sheep-goats) and if they did have a disease this "could" get passed to the goats through the dog food- also the fact that goats eat veggies and not meat - you would not want to disrupt the digestive system but moreso the possible disease factor- a handful given would not hurt if it has already happened.
