Question Can you safely castrate a goat that is 2 1/2 years old? and if so how
Answer HI Lauri,
Depending on the size of his testicles and if they can fit into an elastrator band one then the other- he may be able to be banded. If not the next best thing would be to have a vet look at him and cut the cords- I'm not sure an emasculator would work. I do have an article with photos on my website on the banding method of castration.
