Goats/laurels toxic?

Question
Hi,

Are English Laurels and other types of laurels toxic to goats?

Thanks!

Answer
Sorry fore the delay. I can find that mountain laurel can be cyanide producing and therefore poisonous. Could not find English laurel. With goats, it usually depends on how much they eat. I have seen my goats take a bit of rhododendron and be fine. Because of theirs digestive systems, they seem able to tolerate more than other animals, even some other ruminants.
