Hi Donna , i was talking a while back about a couple goats with possible pneumonia or lung worm . One had lung worm , the other a young 8 month old sannan buck has a mild form of pneumonia , equivalent to our walking pneumonia . He's had this for some time and penicillin wouldn't quite get it . I now have Agrimycin L A 200 . he is about 60 lb , how much and is it twice a day ? Thank's .

Agrimycin is oxytetracycline and that is good to use if the penicillin is not helping as this pneumonia sounds more like a fungal pneumonia, and not bacterial.  Dosage should be 4.5 cc/100 pounds body weight either once a day or every other day for 7 days - this also needs to be given intramuscularly.  So, would go with 3 cc dose for him.  Hope that helps.
