I have owned the breed for 16 years. Have done conformation, obedience, and pet therapy training. Have been a member of the local breed club; I participate in breed rescue. Have done training in private and group situations.

Question
Hi
I've had my male golden since he was 8 weeks old.
He is 7 months today, nov. 4. He has chased his tail from the first days I have had him. I had heard someplace that a dog does that when they are bored. I am a widowed retired female, and he is either walking with me or playing with me. He is not bored to my thinking. My question is---"is this a bad habit for my dog to do?
will it hurt his back of hips or something?
