Question
I have 3 teenage boys and they have been playing on and off for a couple of years... they are all now hitting in the 90's and it is fun... however, they play with some cheap clubs and I was wondering what is the best method (and who) to go about getting them fitted for clubs... They each go a new Nike Driver and are adding about 20 yards and accuracy to the shot... so there must be some advantage to getting them a better toolset - Thanks

Answer
Hi Craig:

Exactly, they need to be professionally fit for clubs.  All the major manufacturers fit clubs now, whether it's online or in person or even over the phone.  Technology can help them so much.  Don't get the cheapest set of clubs, you get what you pay for.  But if that is not a concern, I would check online with Nike, Callaway, PING, etc.  to see what their process is.  Another great way I have used with all my students is to go to Magique Golf.  They are in Phoenix, Arizona where I am and they only do custom fit clubs.  You can go online and do it yourself.  If interested, go to www.magiquegolf.com for more info.  Worst case scenario, look up Golf Club Repair in your local community and call them, find out what their fitting process is for clubs, do they make clubs there or do they stock name brand equipment?  But whatever you choose to do, get them fit for their clubs and let technology help them.
