Question how do i hit the ball father. right now i am hitting my 8 iron 150 and on a good day i can hit it 160 but i know the pros hit it a lot farther i think? i was just wondering how do i hit if as far as they do?
Answer It sounds as though you hit it plenty far enough. But what makes the pro's hit it further is that the loft of their irons are tweaked to a "Tournament Loft" which means if your 8 iron loft measures 43 degrees then theirs is 2 degrees stronger at 41 degrees and so on through the set, thus they can squeeze an extra few yards. But dont try doing this as when you get to your long irons you will struggle.
