Question
Hi Jen,
I am a pretty new Goo fan and I have their new cd, Dizzy up the Girl. I was interested in A Boy named Goo and I know that one song on it is Name, which I love. What are the other songs on the cd like? Are they heavy medal like their first songs were? Thanks for your help!

Answer
Hey there!

Well....to be perfectly honest, I was little caught off guard the first time I heard a Boy Named Goo and exactly like you, I only knew Name and expected the songs to be somewhat the same. Beware! ha ha, actually, the songs are AMAZING on a boy named goo, as long as you can handle the heavier stuff. Take for example on dizzy up the girl....listen to Dizzy, Amigone, Janary Friend (most of Robby's materials) and if you can handle that, then you're ready for a boy named goo. Most of the songs just need getting used to, and then you'll wonder what you've been doing without them! When you've got that covered, head for "Hold Me Up" and "Superstar Car Wash" actually, SSCW is one of the best albums you'll ever buy....:) Good luck!
