US Government Information - Gov Pay Scale

Question
what is the current pay range for GS-12

Answer
John,
I am assuming you want to know what a "federal" GS-12's pay schedule is right now.  The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) is in charge of all these things.

www.opm.gov

Specifically their "Salaries & Wages" portion of their website will be helpful to you.

I know that I didn't exactly come out and say what a GS-12 will make.  It all depends on what job they have and their location.  For example, an IT professional will make considerable more in San Francisco than a Comptroller will in Mobile.  They may be both GS-12s, but their job and location will affect their pay.

If you have specific questions on a location/job, I can help you figure out what a GS-12 would make.  However, all the informatin is located on the pages I sent you.

Best of luck.
Eric
