Question Our firm as been in business doing repair work for NOAA and the weather service for going on four years.
Our cage code is 3N5E2.
We are try ing to get some military bids, but the nomencalture and descriptions of the items are not clear, getting enought infomation to bid had proven to be a dead end.
We have Febizopps,Fed Teds you name it.
We also want o tknow the best way to get an appointment to go see someone who is interested in new repair vendors for devices like Radar, we do NEXRAD RADAR right now and have terrific references.
We get close,bu then with no information I can't bid blind. How do we ask for a sample to estimate?
How do we get appointments? What kind of vendors do they really need and how much is posted to satisfy simple regulations and they have no intention of sending theitem to any new vendors?
I have SCORE, PTAC all is in place but i keep hitting dead ends. I did bid two items blind and came out OK we were inspected by DCMA out of Chicago and passed with no problem.
Our e-mail is service@emrrepair.com.
We would love to have myself, my partner and my controller have a conversation with someone of your background and take any pointers you could give us.
We really appreciate your time, I am a volunteer on here under home electical and electrical motors so I know this is very time consuming.
Any help advice, direction tip or futher instructions would be fantastic.
We do quality work and saved the NWS a small fortune, long story for on here.
What do you think?

Answer Will,
Wow! Thank you for a great question. I actually worked in the METOC (Meteorology / Oceanography) community within the Navy. I am off to bed right now. Let me look into this and get a decent answer back to you. It might take some email back and forth, but I am sure that we can come up with a game plan for you.
