Question
I need to create a calendar that is 4 5/8 x 5 1/2 using Quark.  The problem I am having is that I do not know how to create the layout of the calendar. Meaning the actual grid of calendar.  How do I go about doing that?

Answer
Hi,

Using the rectangle text box tool, create a box for one day, size it appropriately, put the date number in it and format both the box and the text to your liking. Then, group the two and use Item > Step and Repeat. You can repeat down and across until you have enough of them to make a month, spacing them however you prefer. When you have five rows of seven days (I'm assuming you need a one-month page although you didn't specifically mention that), then you can use it for each month by copying and pasting it.

Or, you can Google "Quark calendar template". You'll discover that others have already done similar things. You may not love the design of the templates they made, but they will at least have the grid you're looking for. Save a copy on your own hard drive and modify it to your own needs/tastes.

I don't endorse or recommend anyone in particular, but you might start here:

Best of luck to you!
