Question
I have a four month old great dane pup. I have been feeding him "large breed" puppy food. WHat is the best type of food (kibble or wet..since he will only eat if a small amount of wet is thoroughly mixed in). Thanks Brandy
I have noticed that when he does get wet/dry mix his stool can almost be runny (very soft stool, but not watery).

Answer
Hi Brandy
Stay away from the wet food,. it's unnecessary and most often very poor quality 4d meat (Dead diseased dying and downed animals) with a lot of water in it which explains his watery stool.
Use a good quality dog or large breed puppy food 23 percent protein or less, no by products, corn , wheat or soy. Put puppy on supplements, bone meal and calcium, as well as vitamins C,E,B complex, omega fish oil and flax seed,
I like Flint River, Eagle Pack,EVO,Wellness, Natural Balance.
Good luck and enjoy those floppy, silly.clumsy puppy months :)
Cindi
