Greece - Santorini at night

Expert: Roger Ellman - 10/30/2009

Question
Hi,  I'm looking at itineraries for a Greek Isles cruise next year and the one that works out best for our schedule has a great itinerary except we're in Santorini in the evening from 4p - 10p.  We would be there around Aug. 30th.  I've heard from several people that Santorini is a must-see, but are we missing out because of the timing?  What time will it get dark?  Thanks!

Answer
Bernice

It's not bad really as cruises (for me) never stay long enough in any one place you get to and really like!

It will be dark by 9 in the evening so you will see the sunset, quite special.

Santorini is a genuine,bona fide, must-see!

Hope this helps

Smooth sailing and happy travels

Roger
