Question
hello! i have a question, first of all how far is from thessaloniki train station to thessaloniki bus station? and if from bus station is any bus straight to kerkyra? and if u know what is the prize for ticekt.
thanks a lot!

Answer
Yiasou Klaudia, Thank you for the question,

There is a shuttle from the Thessaloniki train station to the main
bus station .  BUS #1...every ten minutes...0.50 euro.  It isn't far, less then a mile.  You could walk it ... just walk toward the
big domed building.  Easier just to take the shuttle.

Thessaloniki BUS terminal has ONE bus that goes direct to IGOMENITSA.
2000 (8pm).  Takes 8-hours, nice overnite trip, gets you to the
port of Igominitsa at 0400, in of time to catch the early
ferry.  Ferrys go to Kerkyra 5-times a day between 0400 and 2200.

BUS trip from Thessaloniki costs 30-euro.
Ferry over from Igomenitsa to Kerkyra (Corfu) costs about 7-euro,
students are half fair. Ferry takes 90-minutes to cross to Corfu.

There are also 6 other buses that go to Igomenitsa from Thessalonika
during the day.  They STOP at IOANNINA and you have to change buses
there for the continuing trip to Igomenitsa ... cost of this is: 35-
euro. Buses leave about every 2-hours during the day from Thessalonika between hours of 0730 and 1930 hours.  So if you get
to Thessalonika early you do not have to wait until 8-pm if you
don't want to.

Hope this helps
