Question Hi,
My husband and I will be travelling to Athens in late October this year. We would like to visit Crete and Santorini for a few days. Can you suggest some places that are worth seeing on Crete and are there any ferries or hydrofoils travelling between Athens/Crete/Santorini at that time of the year.
Also we would like to go to the Dalmation coast- (Dubrovnic and Split - is it possible to get there from Crete or do we have to go back to Athens?
Thank you
Lindy

I do recommend looking at "Where Should I go in Crete" on website www.CreteTravel.com and in general this, even if I say it, is the asiest to use guide about the island.
In late October so far there have never been hydrofoil/catamarans still running...however for Santorini to Crete you should consult the timetables to see if a flight on SkyExpress suits you (www.CreteTravel.com/flights).
Regarding the Dubrovnic question - you will need to go from Athens or from Thessaloniki. (By air in all probability - but www.gtp.gr may be helpful as is www.ferries.gr in seeking routes between Greek ports and those overseas.
Hope this helps a bit - do ask again if you look at these and have further questions.
