Question
It seems that we'll have a brief layover (12:40 - 16:10) on Paros between two ferries.  Will there be time for us to do anything on Paros in that time? ... like a taxi tour, or should we just hang at the port?  Is there a place that we can store our luggage rather than drag it around with us?

Here's how this layover came about:  We arrive on Santorini by flying direct from Frankfurt on 3 Sep. We want to go to Mykonos on 5 Sep; however, the online ferry schedules indicate that the only direct-ferry that day is a really slow NEL-boat w-six stops.  So, we plan to take a faster GA-Ferry to Paros and wait for the slow boat to catch up with us.

We plan to book the Deck class on the GA Ferry to Paros and the business-class on the NEL to Mykonos.

Answer
Yiasou Roger, Thank you for the question,

Actually, staying around the port might not be such a bad idea ...

BUT you could all store your bags at the PAROS TRAVEL AGENCY located directly beneath the windmill.  2Eu per bag.

or at the bus station for 3Eu a bag.

Then you could all head over to the HAPPY GREEN COW for some food & drink and a kind of psychadelic trip back to the 60's.  It is located on a narrow street one block off the port. ASK.

TAMARISKA Garden Restaurant is another nearby place with atmosphere to hang out in and eat & drink.

there is a Arch. Museum that you can get to by taxi, just a short distance away.   a few euro to get in.

And there are 1/2 dozen interesting churches to browse .

Other then that and a nearby beach ... that is about it for your time slot.

I thought that a HYDROFOIL ran everyday from Santorini to Mykonos at 2:30 in the afternoon.   3-hours!
Check it out when you arrive...You may find a few ferry options that were not mentioned.  Specially in early September.

Good luck
