Question
I had a friend when I was young. Her name was Virginia. But, her parents called her by her Greek name. It sounded like "Avunia". My daughter is having her first girl and would like to use the name. #Her hubby is Greek but doesn't speak it# I need the correct spelling. Please?

Answer
Hi Nancy,

the name is used in Greek as "Virginia" in Greek lettering, which would look like this:

Βιργινία / ΒΙΡΓΙΝΙΑ
