Question
What do you say in Greek when someone is sneezing?

Answer
Hi Hank,

the most common phrase is "γείτσες" ('yit-sess) or rarely and more formally "υγεία" (i-'yi-a), both of which mean health. It's the same word as in "γεια μας" ('ya-mas) when you say "cheers" for the drinks.

Have a nice day.

Cordially,
Michael
