Greetings Michael,

I am working on a sculpture and need some help before I proceed.  I desire to etch either of the following phrases:

"evervictorious" or
"I [will] conquer"

into my piece..  The translation needs to be in a dialect used by the ancient Spartans.  The etching will be placed next to the famous phrase "Molon Labe" in the attached script and I would like to etch any translation in the same style/script.  I would greatly appreciate it if you could please assist me.  Thanks so much!

Sincerely,

Steve F.

Hi Steve,

your work sounds interesting. Once you finish it, do not hesitate to send me a picture :)
A possible translation for your inscription in Doric Greek would be the following:

ΑΙΕΣ ΝΙΚΑΤΑΣ (=evervictorious)
ΚΑΤΑΚΤΑΣΩ (= I will conquer)

I wrote this by hand as I couldn't find a similar font. Hope it works.
Have a good day; soon a happy New Year!

Cordially,
Michael
