Question
Hi Michael,
Im going to get a tattoo in Greek. I really need your help to get a right tattoo.

Ποτέ μην εγκαταλείπεις! [καθαρός _βοηθώ_έξοχος_
Never give up! [pure_help_splended

these 3 words has meaning of my family
καθαρός-pure, clean
βοηθώhelp-help others, give
έξοχος-splended, outstanding

For 'Never give up'
Ποτέ μην εγκαταλείπεις! or ΜΗΝ ΕΓΚΑΤΑΛΕΙΠΕΙΣ ΠΟΤΕ
Which one is right?

Is it OK to do my tattoo like that? Please help =)
Thank you

Answer
Hi Hojin,

both versions of the phrase "never give up" are correct and mean the same thing.
For clean/pure, I would suggest the word αγνός to avoid referring only to tidiness or personal cleanliness; in that sense αγνός contains also purity in thinking and character. The other words look also fine to me and I think that the tattoo will look great.

Good luck with that.

Cordially,
Michael
