Question QUESTION: hi there, as it is my birthday today i would like a green day tribute to come round to my house and gig for me. i really like green dayz are they still going i can't find any of their gigs? i woukld be gratefull if you can help and tell me then their gigs are thanks karl

Well Green Day is not touring right now they are spending time with their families and demoing stuff for their new album. So they are not out touring right now. There are Green Day tribute bands all over the world. Just google your area and "green day tribute band" and you'll come up with something. It might be a little hard to book them on the day of, but you could have one this coming weekend.

QUESTION: thanks i have booked green date. do you know when green days new album is coming out? or have any information on it? also is the network green day? in the book nobody likes you by marc spits it says their not and that billie joe was in the crowd at their live show? and if they are the network why wont they admit it? thanks a lot karl

Well it looks like Billie Joe has been working hard, "In an interview with Kerrang!, Billie Joe revealed that 2008 would "be a fair estimate of the release date of their new Untitled Eighth Studio Album." In October 2007, Billie Joe announced more on this new album, saying he had been writing new material on the piano, and had around 45 songs. He stated he wanted the new music to dig into what he's feeling at the moment - which is middle-aged." So there you have it. We can probably expect a release date around late 2008 The guys had quite the ride through American Idiot and are taking it easy. They formed a new band called the Foxboro Hottubs and that is keeping them busy as well. My personal opinoin is that this album will sound more like Dookie and Isnomiac days because American Idiot was such a stretch for them.
About the Network..it's now been confirmed that Jason White, Billie Joe, Tre, and Mike are members of the 6-piece new wave band. Fink is Billie. The Snoo is Tre, Van Gough is Mike abd Balducci is Jason. It was obvious from pictures so they finally confirmed it. But something that is quite the rumor nowadays is if Green Day's album Cigarettes and Valentines is actually Money Money 2020, the Networks album. So there you have it Green Day is the Network. They denied for so long I guess they were just having fun. Especially since everything the Network does is copyrighted under Green Day.
