Question I live in Arkansas and I have a question regarding my cayenne peppers. I have some beautiful plants and they are putting off peppers like crazy, but the peppers aren't hot. Yes, they are the kind that is suppose to be hot, but they aren't. They are not really even remotely warm. I don't think I am picking them to early because they are about
5 1/2-6 inches long and about as big around as a ink pen when I pull them. They do get 8 hours or more of sunshine per day. I have a total of 9 plants and every now and then, I will get one that is warm, but we have never had a hot one. Do you think I am pulling them to early? Any ideas?

There could be some mix up in your seeds. They should be hot. Let them grow a little more.
Do not use to much water. Also, fertilize about every 15 days around the base.
